THEN AND NOW.
My two poinsettias, or “christmas stars” as we call them in Norwegian, which I adopted from relatives who would otherwise have thrown them out after the last holidays are still alive! I’ve had them for eight months now; not bad, eh? I hope to keep them for three decades.
August has been warm in south-eastern Norway, and the Mexicans have camped on my veranda. It’s still 15-18 Centigrades at night on my veranda.
- First a retrospect from the day I repotted the white poinsettia.

8th of March, 2020. Millie approved that I repotted the white poinsettia:
This afternoon, 16th of August, 2020. The big white one has grown well. The little burgundy red poinsettia has not grown because I pruned its roots to hard when I repotted it:
